She was previously an investigative reporter with Four Corners and a political reporter in Canberra. Ticky grew up in Surrey, England and read law at Magdalen College, University of Oxford, where she was a contemporary of [UK Prime Minister] Boris Johnson. She worked as an investment banker for Credit Suisse First Boston in London and Sydney, honing her skills in international finance and commercial law.
